Overview

Most of our hair and beauty students will start off learning in the classroom, but there is plenty of real world learning in our Distinctions salon.

Students are able to bring in their own clients or work on members of the public, so you can develop your customer service skills, technical skills and, most importantly, your confidence. This is a creative department, and we encourage all our students to take part in plenty of competitions throughout the year where you can impress local salon owners with your skills.

It can be hard work, but to those who persevere, it’s a career that offers huge rewards and job satisfaction.

If you join one of our hair of beauty therapy courses, you’ll be taught by experienced lecturers who have worked in the industry. We offer a wide range of courses to suit all abilities.
