Offering 2 pathways, perfect for 16-18 year olds or 19+ adult learners.
Step into the world of digital with this course!
Modern-day workflows rely on various digital technologies to make business operations run smoothly – it’s essential that you understand how to use technology effectively and efficiently.
This course introduces you to skills and concepts which can be found in companies across the world, and arms you with the knowledge required to progress into further education or a career.
Pathways:
16-18 YEAR OLDS:
You will study full-time for 1 year, with modules including:
- Computer programming
- Cybersecurity
- Emerging technology
- Networking and network management
- Data management and analytics
- IT technical support
19+ YEAR OLDS:
You course is aimed at upskilling adults & preparing them for a role as a first-line technician in digital & technical support services.
This course contains the following units:
- IT technical support
- Networking
The 20-week course will run on Thursdays from 4:00pm-7:15pm, on-site at Lakes College.
There will be an additional 2 hours of online work to be completed each week.
