Entry requirements
Maths: 4 GCSEs at Grade 5 including Maths at Grade 6, English at Grade 4.
Core maths: 4 GCSEs at Grade 5 including Maths and English at Grade 4.
Biology: 4 GCSEs at Grade 5 including Science at 6-6 or Biology at 6, Maths at 5, English at 4.
Chemistry: 4 GCSEs at Grade 5 inclduing Science at 6-6 or Chemistry at 6, Maths at 5, English at 4.
Physics: 4 GCSEs at Grade 5 including Science at 6-6 or Physics at 6, Maths at 6, English at 4.
Psychology: 4 GCSEs at Grade 5 inclduing Maths at 5, English at 4.
English: 4 GCSEs at Grade 5, including English at 4.
Sociology: 4 GCSEs at Grade 5 including English at 4.
Business: 4 GCSEs at Grade 5 including English at 4.
Costs
This course is free for students aged 16 or over but under 19 on 31 August 2026. For adults (aged 19+) this course is partially funded by the Government, depending on circumstances you may be eligible for full funding. To be eligible for funding, you must be a UK resident or have lived in the country for three or more years.
What next?
After securing A Levels, you can progress onto University, a Higher Apprenticeship or Higher Education course at Lakes College.
