Free* Adult short course: Social Media Marketing - Level 2 Award (22nd April)
Course Description
Step into the fast-paced world of digital marketing and discover how brands connect with audiences online. In this exciting course, you’ll explore how social media platforms are used to promote products and services, and how businesses use digital tools and technologies to build powerful marketing campaigns.
You’ll learn how different social media channels work, what makes content engaging, and how successful campaigns capture attention in a crowded online world. Using your creativity and strategic thinking, you’ll develop your own ideas and design a social media marketing campaign for a real product or service.
By the end of the course, you’ll present your campaign proposal, showcasing the skills and knowledge you’ve gained in planning, creating and promoting content for today’s digital audiences.
This half-day course takes place on Monday, 22nd April between 1pm and 4pm. If you are unable to make this date, courses will also take place on Monday, 25th May and Monday, 29th May.
Entry requirements
There are no entry requirements required for this course - only an interest in the subject!
Costs
This course is free for adults aged 19-plus if they are unemployed, or earn below £35,000. You must also meet UK residency requirements. To study this course for free you must provide evidence of income/employment status.

On completion of this course, you will have the skills to improve your social media marketing. You could study another Adult Short Course at Lakes College, or progress onto a business/marketing course at Lakes College.
