April 2026 Update - Opening Hours
Updated Opening Hours - April 2026
There will be some upcoming changes to the Lakes College ActivZone gym opening times, which will take effect after the Easter holidays, i.e. with effect from 13th April 2026.
Due to our growing sports provision and increase in enrichment activity, we are experiencing increased pressure on the use of these facilities.
From 13th April 2026, during term-times, the gym will be closed to members throughout the day to allow exclusive by Lakes College students to support their timetabled activities and ensure appropriate supervision.
To offset the impact on our members, we are marginally extending the opening hours which will apply in term time:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 9:00am and 4:30pm – 9:00pm
(Please ensure you have exited the facility by 9:00am to allow access for college students) - Weekends: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Out of term-time, the facilities will be open to all users during these hours and throughout weekdays. Open hours and term-times will be published and displayed for members.
To reflect these changes, we will be reducing our membership prices to:
- £20 per month standard membership
- £15 per month for concessions
If members wish to cancel their membership due to these changes, a pro-rata refund will be offered from 13th April 2026.
