We are delighted to welcome Mark Fell as the new Principal and CEO of Lakes College, beginning 1st December 2025.
Mark joins the college with more than 20 years’ experience in Further Education, having most recently served as Executive Principal at Milton Keynes College. Born and living in Cumbria, Mark brings a deep understanding of our region and strong relationships with local employers and stakeholders.
Under his leadership, we aim to build on the excellent foundations laid by our outgoing Principal Chris Nattress, who is retiring after 13 years of leadership, and continue to grow and adapt.
We hope the Lakes College community – learners, parents, staff, employers and partners – will join us in welcoming Mark as we embark on this next chapter together.
