If you’re passionate about travel and tourism and want to develop the knowledge and skills needed for an exciting career in the industry, this course will help you take your next step. You’ll explore how the UK travel and tourism industry operates, develop your customer service skills and learn more about destinations while preparing for a future career in the sector. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore specialist areas of travel and tourism, which could include airlines and airports, cruise travel, visitor attractions, hospitality, events, tour operations and travel agencies.
The course combines industry knowledge with practical and work-related skills, helping you build the confidence and experience valued by employers. On successful completion, you could progress to further or higher-level study, including degrees in areas such as Travel and Tourism, Tour Management, International Tourism or Hospitality Management. Alternatively, you’ll be well placed to explore employment opportunities across the travel, tourism, leisure and hospitality industries.
