If you’re interested in travel, tourism and discovering more about one of the world’s most exciting and varied industries, this course is a great place to start. You’ll develop an understanding of how the travel and tourism industry works, while exploring areas such as customer service, destinations and the different organisations and attractions that help create memorable visitor experiences. Depending on the units studied, you could also explore areas including airports and airlines, travel agencies, hospitality, events and visitor attractions.
Throughout the course, you’ll develop valuable skills and knowledge that can prepare you for your next step, whether you want to continue your studies or begin working towards a career in travel and tourism. The course can provide a pathway to further study at Level 3 and help you explore the wide range of opportunities available across the sector, from airlines and airports to travel agencies, hospitality, attractions and tourism.
