Morgan Sindall Infrastructure delivers some of the UK’s most complex and critical infrastructure across the core sectors of nuclear, defence, energy, water, highways, rail, and aviation for public and private sector clients, with the goal of connecting people, places, and communities through innovative and responsible infrastructure.
As a responsible business, we are committed to leaving a positive legacy in the communities in which we work. From careers programmes for young people and adults, to protecting the environment and supporting community groups and cultural events, our social value programmes designed to improve the lives and career prospects of local people.
Our Work with Lakes College
As part of the Lakes College Employer Pledge of Excellence, we’re proud to collaborate on initiatives that inspire and prepare learners for the world of work. We’ve supported by:
- Providing apprenticeship and work placement opportunities.
- Delivering workshops and guest lectures on key skills and careers.
- Advising on curriculum to ensure it reflects current industry needs.
- Providing mock interviews and World of Work Days
- Supporting information, advice and guidance sessions for learners.
- Inspiring the next generation of Lakes College students through collaborative organisation of the annual flagship careers event, the Festival of Work.
- Collaborating on the delivery of employability programmes including Creating Careers in Construction and Foundations First.
Morgan Sindall Infrastructure has over 50 Apprentices on programme with Lakes College across a wide range of business disciplines including Project Management, Civil Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Construction Quantity Surveying.
