The T Level in Digital will upgrade the skills you need for a career in an in-demand industry, following the digital support services pathway. Throughout this two-year course, students will learn the core skills needed for a career in digital support services, as well as the knowledge and underpinning concepts, theories and principles behind key areas including: computer systems; networking; cybersecurity; data; business context, diversity and inclusion; testing and troubleshooting.

We have a wide range of facilities and equipment to engage learners in real-world practical learning including:
• Off-domain classrooms, where students can experiment without the danger of damaging the main network

• £1 million Digital Accelerator Hub equipped with high-speed computers and portable networking racks

• Computer lab where learners engage in physical hardware creation, maintenance and assembly

This programme is the equivalent of three A-Levels and mixes classroom learning and 'on-the-job' experience in an industrial placement for a minimum of 315 hours over the duration of the course.

Entry requirements

You will need to have at least five GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including English, Maths and Computer Science (or equivalent).

Applicants must also successfully complete a mandatory assessment day.

What next?

After completing a T Level, you could go on to an apprenticeship, higher apprenticeship, Higher Education and/or degree apprenticeship, or have the skills to enter full-time employment.

This could be with Lakes College based on the existing (and growing) offer, or to another provider.
