Course Description
This course is ideal if you want to improve your English skills to open up employment opportunities or for personal development.
The course is fast-paced and covers skills including analysis language and structure, evaluating, inference, comparison and creative writing.
You will learn through studying fiction and non-fiction texts from the 19th century to today.
This course will be delivered on site, once a week on a Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm, with additional home learning.
Progress checks will take place throughout the academic year in October, January and April.
You will complete two exams at the end of the academic year in May and June which will be externally assessed by the AQA exam board, with results released in August.
Entry requirements
To study this course you will need to complete an initial assessment and face-to-face interview.
Costs
This course is fully funded for eligible students. Actual Cost is: £811.00. All costs are subject to slight changes.
