This apprenticeship is adaptable for all HR specialisms and for those with people management responsibilities. Individuals in this role will use their HR expertise to provide and lead the delivery of HR solutions to businesses.

The apprenticeship is primarily focused on individuals who are new to their role or progressing on their career journey through the organisation.
This course provides the apprentice with the baseline knowledge to fulfil the HR consultant partner role through the delivery of the intermediate diploma in HR for one academic year.

Building on this throughout the programme the apprentice will also work towards gaining work experience and competence in their specialist area through regular management meetings, assessor support and planned developmental activities such as work shadowing.

They will build a portfolio of evidence of their competence through their apprenticeship which will support them with their end point assessment.
The end point assessment consists of a professional discussion and work based consultative report both of which are externally assessed through an independent assessment organisation.

Apprentices will also need to complete the CIPD level 5 intermediate Diploma in Human Resources over 1 academic year. This is an academic programme where learners are required to undertake assessment for 8 study modules.

Entry requirements

Learners should be employed in a HR role and have completed a level 3 Certificate in HR practice and have 5 GCSEs A-C or equivalent including Maths and English. As this is a professional programme consideration will also be given to learners with other business related qualifications or extensive HR experience.

Full funding may be available. Actual Cost is: £7000.00. All costs are subject to slight changes.

What next?

This apprenticeship will demonstrate competence at the HR Business Consultant or Partner level and will support progression through the HR profession. Learners may also use this to contribute to degree level qualifications or progress onto study at level 7.
