Term dates and key events
Intro
Throughout the academic year, there a number of activities taking place which will be of interest to parents and guardians.
When a learner starts at the college at the beginning of September, there will be sessions to enable them to settle into college life.
Key dates:
w/c 1st September: Induction Week (learners will be given their individual start date, as all courses are different. During the week learners will spend time in their curriculum areas getting to know staff, peers and the college. The sessions will be engaging, with employers attending to offer insights into career choices.
w/c 8th September: Timetables classes will begin for each course. Details of these will be available during the Induction Week.
Tuesday, 9th and Wednesday 10th September: Freshers Farye, including Loud Speaker sessions – unique, high-energy workshops that give learners the tools that enable them to speak professionally and leave them confident enough to take up opportunities.
16th/17th/18th September: Imran Muslim Learner Services
