KEY PARTNER: MISSIONCX
MissionCX was borne out of deep commissioning experience and a belief that things could be done better.

About us
Our founders — with decades on the ground across the world’s most complex nuclear and defence projects — saw first-hand what works, what doesn’t, and what’s missing. We built MissionCX to solve those challenges.
Over 10 years on, we’re now the UK’s most trusted commissioning specialists — growing fast, building a reputation for excellence, and for getting things done right, first time, every time.
But we’re not just here to deliver projects. We’re here to grow people, improve standards, and lead commissioning into the future.
We’ve been shaped by our environment, our experience, and our values — and we bring that grit, precision, and purpose to every project we touch.
We are MissionCX. We are the commissioning experts. We are commissioning the future, today.

Our Work with Lakes College
As part of the Lakes College Employer Pledge of Excellence, we are proud to collaborate on initiatives that inspire and prepare learners for the world of work.
We’ve supported 3 IT/Cyber T-Level students form Lakes College through:
- Onboarding and inclusion – welcoming three students into our business as we would any new team member, issuing laptops and enabling remote working.
- Workplace expectations – sharing our standards and culture, helping students understand how to successfully transition from college into the workplace after completing their studies.
- Real work tasks – engaging students in meaningful activities such as:
– Completing mandatory onboarding learning via our LMS.
– Building their own SharePoint pages, developing transferable IT and collaboration skills.
– Creating tracking spreadsheets to support organisational management.
– Reviewing SWOT, PESTLE, and Risk information as part of ISO requirements.
– Exploring how we use automation and augmentation through our IT platform to streamline processes.
Through this partnership, MissionCX has given learners a real insight into the skills and behaviours employers value, while also enabling them to contribute to live projects in a supportive environment.

Our Wider Commitment
The Lakes College partnership forms part of our broader Pathfinder programme — our structured approach to developing skills from school through to early careers and beyond.
It sits alongside some of our other initiatives like our Work Experience and Work Insights Weeks. Pathfinder is designed to inspire the next generation, open pathways into commissioning and business operations, and ensure learners can connect classroom knowledge with real industry experience – our commissioning academy will launch in 2026, the first of its kind in the UK!
