Message to all learners from Principal Chris Nattress
Message to all learners from Principal Chris Nattress – Wednesday, March 25
This is a time of great uncertainty and anxiety for everyone involved with Lakes College – most of all our learners.
Following the past two days of independent learning, we are now turning to remote working online.
I want to reassure you that a lot of hard work has been going on behind the scenes to ensure all of our learners have the best support possible and are able to reach their potential.
Your course tutor or Student Mentor should have been in touch with you, regarding how to work remotely.
We have produced a number of online tools to make this process easier, but if you still need help with setting up to work from home, see our user- friendly guide here: https://www.lcwc.ac.uk/working-from-home/
The Lakes College community is an extremely strong and resilient one and I’m sure we can clear any hurdles thrown our way – but your support is vital.
I’m very proud to be leading the college during these challenging times and want to thank you all.
Most importantly, stay safe and keep in touch during these difficult times.
