This Level 1 qualification introduces the role of a bookkeeper and the underpinning knowledge to identify and carry out simple different bookkeeping activities, such as income and expenditure, profit and loss, and asset and liabilities.
The course also offers an introduction into the role, and the benefits and risks associated with bookkeeping software.
This course starts on Thursday 16th April between 1pm - 3pm and runs for 10 weeks (excluding half term).
Entry requirements
Learners require entry-level 3 in maths and English.
Costs
This course is free for adults aged 19-plus if they are unemployed, or earn below £35,000. You must also meet UK residency requirements. To study this course for free you must provide evidence of income/employment status.
What next?
Learners can use the skills learned within industry (small businesses etc) and/or progress to Level 2 courses.
