Foundation Degree in Children Young People and their Services
The Foundation Degree in Children, Young People and their Services takes place over 2 years (you will spend one day a week in college). This university level course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to enable you to work as a practitioner with children and young people in a broad range of education and care settings such as children’s services, or as a teaching assistant or play worker. To study on this course you should already work in a childcare environment or have a placement meaning you can put the skills you learn in college into practice.
64 UCAS points or equivalent in a Childcare subject. It is a requirement that a DBS check has been undertaken before entry to the programme.
