Nuclear Technician Level 5 apprenticeship

Three years and six months

A nuclear technician will have a good technical understanding of processes and procedures for the day-to-day operational requirements in nuclear facilities and will use the knowledge, skills and behaviours developed to carry out a broad range of technical, scientific and engineering tasks to operate systems and equipment safely, efficiently and in an environmentally sustainable way, meeting the requirements set out by the employer and industry regulators.

Project Management Level 4 apprenticeship

As a Project Management apprentice, you will learn how to plan and deliver projects within time, cost, and quality constraints. Tasks will include: project governance; monitoring and control of project scope and objectives; risk analysis; planning and reviewing projects; budgeting and cost control; engaging with project stakeholders, including customers; playing a key role in the integrated project team; creating and monitoring action plan.

Laboratory Technician Level 3 apprenticeship

Two years

As a Laboratory Technician apprentice, you will learn how work at the forefront of technology to carry out both routine and one-off laboratory testing (and manufacturing where relevant) and perform a variety of technical support functions across the organisation. You will interact with the laboratory manager and colleagues, internal departments such as manufacturing, procurement and quality, internal customers such as medical staff, teaching staff and students, external suppliers and customers such as service engineers, delivery drivers, regulatory bodies and inspection teams.
