First Aid at Work (Appointed Person)
3 day course
In this three day course attendees will learn skills to be a competent workplace appointed person. You will learn how to deal with breathing and non- breathing casualties, choking, burns and scolds, broken bones, heart attacks, strokes, seizures, bleeding and shock, injuries to the bones, joints and muscles, suspected head and spinal injuries, chest injuries, eye injuries, sudden poisoning, anaphylaxis (how to correctly and safely give an Epi-pen) and major illnesses.
After three years you will need to requalify to continue to be an appointed first aider at work. We provide a course allowing you to retrain.
The course takes place over three days days.
