|Career Prospects||Workers in this field include kitchen or catering assistants who assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages in restaurants, cafes and other eating establishments, and perform various cleaning, fetching and carrying tasks. Restaurant and catering managers plan, direct and co-ordinate the catering services of restaurants, hotels and other organisations.
Entry level wage in this career is £10k, but can rise to £28k with further work experince and qualifications. Locally, jobs opportunities within this arae are projected to increase in the next few years.
