Qualified joiners can earn between £17,000 and £23,000 a year, and experienced joiners can earn up to £28,000 a year.

Success can lead to certification of Construction Skills level 1 Diploma in Carpentry & Joinery

The course includes both practical and theory sessions, with set projects and site visits.

The Level 1 Diploma is assessed in both practical and theory

There are no formal qualifications required.

You should have an interest in Carpentry & Joinery and the Construction industry, with entry to the course based on performance in both practical & theory over a 1 week induction period.

Student Services staff can help you with any aspect of the entry requirements

Full time students under 19 - free.

Course fees for students aged 19 – 23 will be £500.
