The Apprenticeship can start at any time and will last up to 18 months, with on-line tests in college. Functional Skills Maths & English at Level 1 are a mandatory part of the course.

Entry Requirements

The course is all about food and beverage service and, to give you the best possible chance of passing your qualification, you will need to show that you have the commitment, enthusiasm and motivation to succeed.

  • Employment in the hospitality industry as an apprentice, a minimum of 16 hours a week
  • Excellent record of attendance and punctuality
  • Good communication skills
  • A personal interview

Costs

Apprenticeships are government funded, depending on age and circumstances. However, you will need access to the internet either at home or at work and may wish to keep a file for notes and general information.
