The Apprenticeship programme is a mix of real work and learning, combining valuable experience on the job with focussed and relevant training and follows a level 2 programme of training over 6-8 months. This programme covers many aspects of professional cleaning, from mechanised street cleaning to the maintenance of hard floors. There's more to cleaning than most people realise - cleaning staff can sometimes work at crime and accident scenes, or for the National Health Service ensuring cleanliness of hospital wards, waiting rooms and offices. Apprentice will learn a range of cleaning techniques and skills including health and safety, working effective with customers and others and communication skills. |
| Entry Requirements |
Students must be in paid employment of at least 16 hours a week. |
| What Next? |
Candidates may progress onto a higher level NVQ’s than they have currently undertaken, providing their current job role can generate relevant evidence. Successful candidates may consider some of our advice & guidance advance practitioner workshops or even the A1 Assessors Award. There are also courses that could compliment the advice & guidance course such as mentoring or coaching qualifications. |

Apprenticeships are Government Funded. However you will be expected to provide basic stationery items, i.e. folder/plastic wallets for storing your NVQ evidence. |
