Starting salaries are between £13,000 and £16,000 a year.

Qualified joiners can earn between £17,000 and £23,000 a year, and experienced joiners can earn up to £28,000 a year.

Success can lead to certification of Construction Skills level 2 Diploma in Carpentry & Joinery.

This course covers:

  • Storing Materials
  • Working with tools
  • The practical aspects first fix and second fix joinery and roof construction
Entry Requirements

You should have a Level 1 Diploma or relevant industrial experience in Carpentry & Joinery.

In addition, entry to the course is based on performance in both practical & theory over a 1 week induction period.

What Next? Upon successful completion students can progress to a full time level 3 Diploma in Carpentry & Joinery
Course Fees

Full time students under 19 - free.

Course fees for students aged 19 – 23 will be £500.
