La'al Lakers is a day nursery with places for children between the ages of 3 months and 8 years. La'al Lakers provides a warm, friendly and homely environment which pays particular attention to their personal and social needs.

Settling In
The staff at Smallworld La'al Lakers always work in partnership with parents/carers to ensure that the time children spend there is happy. A free induction session is offered giving you the chance to get to know the staff and the setting.
Settling In sessions are available from 9am - 11.30am or 1.30pm - 3pm and must be pre-booked so that staffing provision can be arranged.
Nappy and Toileting
Nappy changing will be done on a regular basis. Your child will be checked at regular intervals throughout the day and changed as necessary. For older children we have toddler toilets which the children have supervised access to.
Smallworld provides all nappies, pull-ups, creams and wipes. Upon registration any allergies or personal preferences will be discussed. Details of your child's nappy changes/toileting will be available to you.
Snacks and Meals
All snacks and meals are provided by Smallworld La'al Lakers and are included in the price. Upon registration we will discuss this with you to check for any allergies and personal preferences. Children have regular access to fresh drinking water. Bottle feeds for babies for are freshly made as required and weaning will be carried out following parental wishes.
What should your child wear?
Children should wear comfortable clothes that don't matter if they get a splash of paint or a dab of glue on. Your child will be having fun and this will frequently involve getting a bit messy!
Collecting your child
For security reasons we are only able to let your child leave with an adult who has been authorised by you on the registration form.
Accident and Medication
If your child has an accident whilst in our care an accident form will be completed which will be notified of and asked to sign. If your child arrives at nursery with a visible injury you will be asked to complete and sign the accident form before you leave. If your child needs any medication whilst in our care you are required to give your consent by completing the medication form, staff are only permitted to administer medication following your consent.

Smallworld La'al Lakers is open from 8m - 6pm, Monday to Friday!
Price List
seasonal Care - Breakfast 8am-9am, morning session 9am-11.30am, lunch session 11.30am-12.30pm, afternoon session 12.30pm-3pm
All care is provided at an hourly rate of £4 per hour
Please note this price is inclusive of all snacks, meals and toiletries.
Where is Smallworld La'al Lakers?
The day nursery is situated in the bungalow between Lakes College and Myers & Bowman Toyota Garage, Lillyhall. Parents/carers and children are very welcome to make an appointment to come and have a look round, meet the staff and have a play!
