Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism

Once you have successfully completed the Level 3 course you could progress onto Level 4 Hospitality Management. This course could lead to a variety of jobs within the hospitality and tourism industry.

This course is for those who would like to consolidate their knowledge of the hospitality and tourism sector and increase their understanding of advanced concepts that will help them gain employment. Compulsory units include the principles of supervising customer service performance and financial control in hospitality.
During the first year, you will be given the opportunity to research current issues facing the travel and tourism industry as well as learn about tourism in rural areas and event organisation and accommodation operations in hospitality. Second year options include exploring marketing, e-business, personal selling, promotional skills and human resources in hospitality as well as gaining an understanding of the management of UK visitor attractions.
Successful completion of Level 2 Travel and Tourism or Catering and Hospitality or five GCEs at Grades A*-C.
