14 - 16 Options

Lakes College West Cumbria

"As a college we specialise in vocational qualifications, which means you learn the skills you need to do the job, skills that employers are looking for. All our tutors come straight from industry, so not only can they deliver the classroom theory they can also show you how that theory is put in to practice in industry. Talk to your teacher about your options."

“Young Apprentices” 14-16 Study

Here at the college we offer 3 Young Apprenticeships which are vocational qualifications that can be studied alongside other GCSE options. Young Apprenticeships are partnerships between schools, colleges and local employers and offer pupils the opportunity to learn a skill theoretically and practically and then use that skill with an employer and learn more about the working world.
